HTC Incredible S starts getting Android 4.0 ICS update in India

HTC launches Incredible S in India last year in march with Android 2.2 Froyo and later updated to Android 2.3 Gingerbread in May 2011.

The company now started rolling out update of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in India for Incredible S. The Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich update is available as an OTA update for the Incredible S and is about 250MB is size. If you are an Incredible S user and has not yet received a notification for the update you can manually update it by navigating to ‘software update’ under ‘about phone’ in the ‘settings’ app. Last month the company revealed that HTC One X, One XL and One S will soon be getting Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update.
