Samsung reportedly developing 350 ppi OLED panels

Samsung OLED display 350 ppi

According to report from OLED-info, Samsung has successfully managed to develop OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) display with 350 ppi (pixel per inch).

That could potentially mean that we are likely to see new smartphones and tablets with sharper and more colorful display in the near future. Apple iPhone 4S have a pixel density of 326 ppi while Samsung’s current flagship device, Samsung Galaxy S III sports 306 ppi.

According to report, Samsung has successfully developed a fabrication process, called Fine Metal Masking, that helps reach higher pixel density with OLED.
