Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 and 800 chips gets OpenGL ES 3.0 certification

Qualcomm has unveiled its new Snapdragon 600 and 800 chips in January at CES 2013. The chips are now been awarded OpenGL ES3 certification. These are the first chips to receive such certification.

The new OpenGL ES 3.0 technology is now supported by Adreno 300 graphics processors in Snapdragon 600 and 800 chips. OpneGL ES 3.0 commonly used by smaller developers who are desigining 2D/3D applications for small, portable devices.
