So now even retailers also started realizing that Samsung is better than Apple. In UK a mystery shopper survey says that retailers in UK recommends Galaxy S III and Note II over iPhone 5 in UK. Retailers like John Lewis, Everything Everywere, O2, 3, Maplins, PC World, Carphone Warehouse, and Phones4U were included in the survey.
Julian Jest of Informa Telecoms and Media, who carried out the survey said, “The mystery shop showed that the most recommended Samsung handsets were the Galaxy S III and the Galaxy Note II, despite having been on the market longer than the latest handsets from Apple, Nokia and HTC.” He continued by saying, ”However, most surprising was the way that, despite an in-store advertising campaign and recent product launch, Apple was recommended in only two stores, 3 and Phones 4 U, with both recommending the iPhone 5.”
Except Phones 4U and Three all others indirectly said S III and Note II are better than iPhone 5. But Informa notes, however, that it was “likely that sales assistants see the Samsung devices as a safe bet to earn greater commissions”.
Additionally, Samsung has sold 40 Million units of Galaxy S III globally after its launch in May. It was also the best Android smartphone of the year 2012. So now eyes are on galaxy S IV which is also scheduled to get launched in May. While iPhone 5S and iPhone 6 are also purported for release in upcoming months along with iPhone Math. Yesterday also some rumors about its components were leaked.
