Micromax Smarty A65 launches in India: 4.3-inch display, no 3G support

Micromax has launched a Smarty A65 handset in India. The Smarty A65 features 4.3-inch display with Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.

The device does not provide 3G connectivity. This dual-SIM handset also sports 1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM,2MP rear camera with VGA front-facing camera. The device also comes packed with 1350 mAh battery which company says to offer 5 hours of talk-time and 205 hours of standby.

The device is priced for Rs. 5,999 (available for Rs. 4,999). The 1GHz processor for this device is provided by Spreadtrum. Spreadtrum recently invested $10 million in Micromax and we may see more devices based on Spreadtrum chipset soon.
