Panasonic launches two new Toughpads, Offers both Windows and Android Version

Panasonic is launching a pair of Ruggedized Toughpads, which will withstand any pain on it like Throwing it on the ground hardly and immersion in water. The FZ-G1 is a 10-inch Toughpad that runs Windows 8 Pro, while the seven-inch JT-B1 runs Ice Cream Sandwich (Don’t you think its should be running JellyBean). Both have the screens viewable in daylight and have stylus support with third-party apps.

The FG-Z1 running Windows 8 Pro has a 10″ (1920 x 1200) display, Powered with Intel Ivy Bridge Intel Core i5-3437U vPro 1.9GHz CPU, 128GB SSD (upgradeable to 256GB), 8GB RAM, microSD slot (optional), USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11 a/b/g/n WiFi,Verizon LTE or 3G Module (optional) and gives battery life upto 8 hrs.

The JT-B1 running Ice Cream Sandwhich has a 7″ (  1024 x 600) display, powered with TI OMAP 4660 1.5GHz Dual-core, 16GB storage, 1GB RAM, built-in microSD slot, 13-megapixel rear and 1.3-megapixel front camera, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, LTE or 3G Module (optional) Battery life upto 8 hrs (5,720mAh battery) having Weight 1.2lbs.

The Windows Pro Toughpad is going to hit the market in March and will be priced at $2,900, while the Android Version will hit in February and will cost $1,300.
