Kingston today has unveiled the “world’s first” 1TB USB 3.0 flash drive. Called as DataTraveler HyperX Predator 3.0, it has 240MB/s and 160MB/s read and write speed boasting SuperSpeed USB 3.0 certification.
The 512GB drive is available right now, while the 1TB version is expected to arrive in the market in Q1 2013.
The 512GB flash drive is priced for $1,750, from this we may expect the 1TB flash drive to price for about $2500 or more.
The company also announces low capacity USB drives with capacities of 32GB and 64GB with 150/70 MB/s read/write speed.
