As expected and after been spotted at the CES yesterday, Sony today unveils its two new flagships – Xperia Z and Xperia ZL.
The Sony Xperia Z runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on its 5-inch 1080p display and is powered by the latest Snapdragon S4 Pro with quad-core 1.5GHz Krait processor, Adreno 320 GPU and 2GB of RAM. There’s 13MP Exmos RS camera sensor. Certified with IP57 for dust and water resistance, the device looks pretty amazing. The Xperia Z is powered by 2330 mAh battery which is non-removable.
The other smartphone, Xperia ZL is quite similar to Xperia Z except the lack of IP57 certification and slightly different design. The rest of the specs are same – 5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset with quad-core 1.5GHz Krait processor, 13MP rear camera.
The smartphones will be available in the market from March. The pricing is yet to be revealed.
