Google announces new Youtube app for iOS

Last time we’ve heard that Youtube would be taken down from iOS 6 as its licence to include the app was over and Apple had removed it in the latest iOS 6 beta.

Just before the launch of iPhone 5, Google has released a new youtube app for iOS.

This new app has a new user interface which is similar to the Android app, and it also includes the channel guide panel on the left. It has a search box with auto complete and a voice search option. The new YouTube for iPhone app can now be downloaded from Apple iTunes store for free. Google has also mentioned that the company will launch an iPad optimized app for the same in coming months.
